A Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada (near Lake Tahoe). I relocated to Tucson, AZ with my partner in October of 2023. Before moving to Tucson, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in Neuroscience in 2019. During my MCAT prep, EMT certification, work experience and gap years, I decided to switch careers with the aim of exploring and pursuing the creative arts.
In December of 2022, I dove into LinkedIn Learning, Google and Youtube courses, learning how to use Adobe Suite programs (including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and Premier), record videos, capture photos on manual, and understand the basic tools of video production and audio recording on my own. Today, I run my own freelance design and photography business, while working part-time at Arts Express Theatre as a graphic design artist, singer and actor.

I love connecting with others, discovering direction and intentions, creating for clients, and guiding visions into exciting finished products.

Head Sign Artist, Grocery Clerk & Courtesy Clerk - Raley’s
Created a corporately recognized sign design approach that was implemented throughout multiple stores. Offered customer support, bagged groceries, maintained a register, fixed scanning issues, completed various tasks and projects for upper management in collaboration, and/or without assistance or supervision.

In high school, I started doing a handful of senior portrait photoshoots for friends. I took AP Studio Art and music classes, was named Most Artistic for senior superlatives and was recognized by corporate at my local grocery store for developing a chalk sign art/sales system (10-15 signs a week) for their business.
Assistant Band Director - Washoe County School District
Coordinated and assisted Galena High School’s band director with teaching, directing and helping band students accurately memorize, play and march for their Fall competitions in the school year. Galena High School claimed 2nd place overall in Northern Nevada’s Sierra Band Crusade in November of 2015.

I graduated from college with a B.S. in Neuroscience with minors in Analytical Chemistry and Painting, helping a couple different friends with graduation photos and artistic developments before dedicating time towards the MCAT, EMT certification and her full time scribing job in the Renown/Northern Nevada Emergency Center.

At the end of 2022, I decided not to pursue medical school and switched to the pursuit of an artistic career. I learned many Adobe suite softwares, editing styles, camera settings, website/logo design basics, and basic graphic skills on my own, and have since shadowed various photographers from varying backgrounds to round out my vision and skills.

Provided comprehensive support to management by efficiently managing email correspondence and ensuring timely responses to inquiries. Took charge of reorganizing and streamlining client files in the Dropbox system, enhancing accessibility and workflow efficiency. Assisted in scheduling and coordinating meetings for management. Managed sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Collaborated with the creative team to design graphics for diverse media platforms, maintaining brand consistency. Utilized Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, to produce visually appealing & engaging content.

Obtained professional headshots of all current actors for marketing projects. Contributes to new design campaigns and directions for Arts Express Theatre. Assisted with Box Office sales and organization.

Singer/Marketing Strategist/Graphic Designer - Firebird Light Opera & P’Opera
Assisted the Executive Director and founding board members with creating the Vision, Mission and Purpose statements, establishing Firebird Light Opera as a 5031c theatre group. Designed their logo by hand, created their brand and their website from the ground up, while meeting ADA requirements. Created flyers, set-up social media accounts and had designs sent to print. Performed with their previous group, P’Opera, and studied vocal performance under the instruction of Stephen Thompson.
